Holy shit Florida is a long haul, we got back yesturday at noon, Yeah I know, that's early. Kyle and Troy red lit in the first round. Both had severe traction problems. We think we have Troy's figured out, Kyle will need a new valve job on the shocks and a ladder bar adjustment. Running 9.00 at 165mph doesn't add up does it, LMFAO. They both will be running low 8's for sure this year.
Donnie came in 2nd with the world fastest NPS Gremblin, he also most won, it was a close one. We were able to pull 3 tenths out of his car over the 3 days we worked on it. His best time was 7.779 with a 1.14 60 ft time. His best run ever in the car. A 4.990 in the 1/8 also!!! Oh and the best thing is it's all naturally aspirated, no nitrous for him.
Butch Kemp won ProStock, his best was in the 8.70 range, hats off tho those guys, they worked their butts off for it!!
I'm tired and I'm sun burnt...... Bad, LOL.
Great to meet you Susie!! Also it was nice to see Rita again, sorry we didn't get to visit more, we were very busy. I got to meet a bunch of
other people from GoFastZone.com also, which was nice. You know Jeff
Prock is an amazing person, we never stops amazing me with his knowledge of drag racing, not only nitrous tuneups, but chassis stuff as well. His comments on a couple things were 110% right on the money, I'm glad to be a very good friend of his and have him in my corner when I get started racing very soon!!
Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound Brian... It was good seeing you again also... I think the last time I had seen you was right after christmas when you and carol called and came to the house and we went out to the bar and played pool... Wow... the memories huh?
But we are in for making a bunch of new memories for sure. Hope to see Carol at one of these races... Tell her I said hi...
