Our 1999 GMC Jimmy has a anit lock brake issue. They keep coming on when we are driving REAL SLOW, like in the driveway backing up first thing or maneuvering around in a parking lot. Driving normal down the road they don't act up, just when going real slow. Any ideas where to start?

A bad wheel speed sensor will do that. Or a cracked tone ring. I would check the tone rings first. Look and see if one is split.

The Ford ones are like $20. It's taking the axle out to replace them that sucks.

When that started happening on my Blazer Dave just disconnected the sensor, it was all good

Now that one is super easy, cover the light with electrical tape, works everytime

Dogg, same thing on my avalanche. The wheel sensor's were dirty just cleaned them and it was ok.
