I noticed that also Chris. This is the 4th post they deleted of mine. Not sure why.. People E-mail me all the time and say that this kind of stuff keeps the message board alive. Not sure whats going on.. Oh well, maybe this is the NHRA where people earn their living off of rather than the NSCA where people kick back and have fun.. People are way too serious!!!!
Ya know, it's a funny thing about having to moderate. I enjoy some fun up to a point and usually only "move" posts, as most users are horrified at the thought of losing that all important post count. I'm sure Chris has at least one or two hidden forums on here that somethings will get moved to when this place expands ( you wouldn't believe how few Nova boards are around ), so I can see BBnova racing getting large quickly. I don't side with anyone on how they determine what is and what isn't proper content for a forum, but some have had it with open verbal abuse and threats, or the first sign of nudity and outright poor taste. I've never seen that out of either of any of your posts. When I first started helping Matt, we had a choice of either limiting what was said or just closing the board for good. Matt's had many boards over the years and has always been a huge source in Philly here. If you look at what the NSCA is trying to do I can see their point, as they want to bring more "outside members" to the forums and the thought of getting tangled up in some trash talk probably gets the hair up on their back when they go back and ask the sponsors for more money. But the board shouldn't be the deciding factor in what all of you plan to talk to each other about, and implications to the sponsors and members come first when money counts. We decided to clean up our forums when we became the sponsor of the quick 8's at our track, and it has helped us alot, you can go there and not get ripped apart like so many other boards allow. Most of you go to another forum here and there and can see what I mean by getting ripped. It doesn't take long to have things get out of hand, but most of the NSCA members know both of you and should take it into consideration. Just some more of my ¢.02.
