Whew!

I'm back. Did I mention I am helping a young man build a model car of Paul Adam's Fairlane?

I took a bunch of photos of it from every concievable angle and had to forward those over to him...

Here are some of my photos from Thompson. I let Joseph take a few so if they are a bit "off kilter" they are his fault!

that last pic reminds me of this last weekend.

They had a lot of dragsters there and some didnt have wheelie bars. and 1 of the cars without wheelie bars, well, isnt as straight as it used to be anymore.

as usual, nice pics!

Those starting line photos are TOUGH!

I had to delete about 50 of them where I either totally missed the car or caught just the rear of the car as it was leaving the viewfinder....

Plus the sun is so bright that you can't tell what you've got until after it gets dark out...

A little secret, put the camera in sports mode, this speeds up the shutter speed and makes it alot easier. :D

Ah. I'll try that next time.

Is that kind of like "deep staging"?

:P

I decided, just because its more convenient than swapping, to finish out the season using my 2008 H2 Captured Test Fleet vehicle.

So - we'll just have to use this pic twice more!

My only complaint is that I can't get the front of the trailer down...

my trailer hitch ball mount has a pretty significant drop but it is not quite enough.

For one more race I can live with it.
