Salem WILL be constested after all!

The National Street Car Association has given further thought to the Salem rain out situation, listened to our racers and sponsors, and decided the race will be contested as originally planned.

Association President Tony DePillo stated "What first appeared to be in our best interest may not have been the case. Our supporters have spoken and we're obligated to listen. The race will be for contingency and points only; the budget will simply not withstand a double payout."

Salem eliminations will begin in the AM on Saturday. The first qualifier on Friday will allow racers to get a 'feel' for the track.
