MY FIRST HOT ROD WAS A 64 1/2 FAST BACK STANG WITH A 289 HI PO BOUGHT FROM CAROLL SHELBY. MY DAD THEN WENT AND BOUGHT ONE A SUPERCHARGER FROM PAXTON. MY DADS CONNECTION TO RACING WAS A GUY NAMED PAUL SCHIEFER (SP) MOST OF YOU AROUND HERE WOULD NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SCHEIFER CLUTCHES AND FLYWHEELS, I BET CAMP WOULD RECOGINIZE THE NAME.
ANYWAY BACK THEN THE CAR WAS BAD TO THE BONE ON THE STREET, NEVER MADE IT TO THE TRACK WITH THE CAR THOUGH. GOT A TICKET FOR DRAG RACING ONE NIGHT RACING A FRIEND WHO WAS A COP IN HIS 65 CHEVELLE. I WENT TO JAIL AND THE CAR WENT TO A BUYER LOL.
SO FORDS ARE AOK AND STANGS ARE WAY COOL I JUST CANT AFFORD THEM THAT IS WHY I RUN CHEVIES.

IS THE MATCH RACE FOR REAL????OR IS THIS JUST YOU AND KEVIN TALKING TRASH LOL.

I AM IN DENVER WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO THE NET BUT POST INFO AND I'LL GET IT WHEN I GET BACK HOME OK.

schiefer was bought out by hurst corp and pauls son carl was running things when paul died. i have no clue what happened to schiefer clutches and flywheels after that.
i remember going to midgets races with paul and my dad in san diego, wow we are old huh lol.
