I think we need to pick a new subject.....

I have laid idel over the last several months while I have seen many people judge other's and I am not writting this to reboot past issues but to finally voice my opinion and feelings.

1st. and foremost, I am, a born again Christian and everyone who knows me knows what I stand for. I am also divorced from my children's mother. I am a respectable person, a loving father and I was a good husband to my childern's mother, and I take offence to statements that I have heard people make, such as, and I quote

"If a marriage gives out, there usually hasn't been enough put in." while this is a true statement, no one has the right to pass judgement on what your opinion may be. I invite you to read Matthew 7:1-5.

Riverbelleme, you write as though you know me, if so please expose yourself so I may know who I am talking to. Every member of this board I consider my family, weither they are a Christian or not.

Kevin is my friend as is Gayle, but I am sick and tired of hearing all the trash, backstabing, and hypocritical comments toward 1 or both of them. Their family issues are private and none of our business, and for those who continue to fuel the fire with this issue will soon meet their own.

There are only 2 people that know the real issue and thats where it should stay.

I have since remarried to a woman that loves and respects me as I do her, and for anyone to make the statement "If a marriage gives out, there usually hasn't been enough put in." I tell you this, if you don't know the detailes that happened in my marriage that caused our divorce, mind your own business, put your nose in your bible and read the book of Matthew chapter 7 vs 1 - 5.

This is not a debate, so please dont answer this with any neg. reply toward anyone period and I do mean anyone.

River this is no attack toward you just the issue. Be apart of our family, love and support each and everyone of us when we are down and we will do the same for you without judgement.

Everyone please forgive me for being so blunt, you have never heard me like this, I like others, am tired of people using the internet to harm others and pass judgements.

That is awesome Phil! No we are not related to Matt Lauer (spelled different) or Joanie Laurer (whew). If you and your wife are up for it, we have a get together between ours and Trovato's trailers on Saturday night. For the past few years we have done the whole dinner thing but this year we are changing it to just drinks and desserts and you guys are very welcome to join us! Anybody I might know that you are visiting?? We look forward to the OLDS Nats every year, been going since 1999, it's our weekend to relax!

First of all, let me say, I am sorry if I stepped on anyones toes. I was just making an observation, I have been there and done that. Not refering to anyone. As far as the statements you made about Kevin and Gayle, I have not been posting long enough to know what you are talking about. I'm sure whatever is going on in Kevins life is between him and Gayle.
I have no idea who you are, other than Gear Jammer, and you seem to be a very caring and interesting person.
So enough said.
