Oh my this thing is driving me crazy! I have been trying to post an update to my sister Ritas surgery all day and it won't let me! Sorry it has taken me so long. As Kev said, she made it through the surgery fine. They repared her hurnia with a special netting, removed all scar tissue and removed her galbladder. She was being held in the recovery room because believe it or not the hospital was full and no room for her. She is now in room 316A and because Rita is already not a very good patient...she's probably givin them HELL for not havin a room for her! I will post any new news. :D

Sounds good hun and ya'll are most welcome. May sound selfish..but I don't do well in hospitals...I can visit everyone but the people I'm there for... been like that since I was a kid. :( Guess I'm afraid to give someone bad luck or somethin.

Thanks for the update Nikki and I hope to eventually meet you one day also :D

I totally understand my husband is the same way, he goes white the moment he walks near the Dr. office or hospital no matter who he is there for.

Makes me feel bad...really...When I was like 12 my dad had open heart surgery and I FREAKED...I was at the hospital everyday...but would visit EVERYONE on the floor but him. Couldn't bring myself to see him...was afraid if I did he would die or something....who knows...but I never outgrew that....last time Rita had surgery...I left town the day of....couldn't deal with it.

Don't feel bad, your family knows you love them and understands that this is not your thing.

Yea...she's that.... I guess you can call anytime now that she's in her own room. My parents are there with her. Jessi doesn't handle the hospital thing well either since her grandma past 4 years ago....So this is mom and dads thing.
