Ross and I talk, shake hands when we're around eachother.......He did some A+ body work on my blazer for me....but other than that, I dont think we will be setting the NPS world on fire anytime soon.....Nothing like it used to be............................as far as Orlando goes.....YEP.......im going..!!!!! First time since 93.....93 was the year when we all loaded up in Morans Father-in laws van and towed his pinto down there.....workin on it in the trailer the whole way down............also the year Carter hired him to drive the Nova and he won......Like to see him go 230+ down there......Anyone going to the AMS promod's vs. the Outlaws the week before...???....Thats gunna be 1 crazy race..............!!!!!!!!

Carolina Dragway to host the first annual AMS VS Outlaw Door slammer competition!

The time has come for the fans of door slammer racing to cast their votes for the $25,000 AMS Pro Modified's versus Outlaws Challenge on Saturday and Sunday October 9th-10th at Carolina Dragway in Jackson, SC.

The fans are entrusted to choose 3 of the 11 members of each team. The remaining eight drivers will be for each team will be decided by three qualifying runs on Saturday. The 3 drivers from each team that are voted in will still be required to make all 3 qualifying runs to determine seeding.

After the 3 qualifying runs are finished, the plan is to pair up the #11 AMS Pro Mod Vs. The #11 Outlaw, 10 Vs. 10, 9 Vs. 9 and so on for round 1 on Sunday. Each win will count as 1 point for that team. After round 1 the cars will be re-seeded based on their round 1 elapsed time for round 2. Their will be 3 rounds total, which means 33 points will be available. The team with the most points will obviously be the winner.

As of right now the 11 winners will receive $2,000.00 each and trophies and the 11 losers will receive $500.00 each. The driver who runs low et of eliminations will receive an an additional $500.00 and a "King of The All Stars" leather jacket courtesy of Nowling Motorsports Management and Gotham Gear.

Just to clarify a few things: this is a Outlaw Door slammer Race which means blown, nitrous, turbo's, nitro coupes, big dog, pro street etc. Working doors, rear suspension and a certified chassis. The event will be televised on ESPN2.
