AGAIN!!!!

But we did qualify #8 out of 33.

The story on the air in St Louis was there wasn't any. The corrected altitude on the 3rd qualifier on Saturday was 3751 feet!

We could only manage our #8 qualifier shot on that run with a 3.89 at (are you ready for this???) 197.45!!!

That made us the 2nd fastest car in that round and the 6th fastest car in the place.

And all that WITHOUT a lockup clutch and without a HEMI!!!!

As for how happy was he? When he had the chutes out over the radio came these words: "Who needs a F()CI<ing LOCKUP!!!"

I cant fathom 197+ in the 1/8th! It makes my 202+ in the 1/4 in 92 BORING!!!!!!!
