Also,

I just called the city of Royal Oak.

1) They said just turn the plans in. No review.
2)If you turn the plans in after Aug 1st, all 2nd story windows have to be A)24" or more from floor to bottom of window or B)only open 4"
3)Ledger board for floor is to be same size as joists board.

and for my notes: the plans can be turn in at any time, but they are there 8-9am and 4-5pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and thursdays.

Yes, I need both dimensions. Height and width or the roof to get teh angle.

The floor joints are 2 x 8. will teh ledger be a single or doubled up board?? Will you attach it to the brick or will you remove the brick and attach it to the poured basement wall???

The bricks are real bricks but are veneer because they just go over the true structure. So you have to drill through them or remove them. steve wants to remove them.

Dont we already have both existing width and new addition width?

Can't get a hold of anyone at the city on the lag bolts. Steve is out perfecting his 4% body fat

To get the roof pitch, I need the hieght of the roof and the dimension of the roof from fascia board to fascia board. East to West.
