I thought we were talking about Tyler and YB...

I did not want to post anything here because I am probably going to catch alot of greif for it. Regardless of what you think of the t-shirt design on yellowbullet... ALOT if talent went into. It is not like Tyler goes and copies and pastes to make the design, it is alot of work. And Monty (love him or hate him) he is talented. He puts 100 % into everything that he does. Knowing Monty I am sure that alot of the people/creatures/ whatever is on the shirt represent people that he knows. He treats everyone on that board as if they were his extended family. He provides somewhere for people to look for technical info... yes there is more then just a general discusiion board there.
This is by no means a jab at anyone that has anything against the type of design on the shirt.... I just think that credit should be given where credit is due. And maybe try not "bash" on people cause you do not agree with the same ideas that they do.

I got something against him. He stole the concept and code from this very site for his own. i guess why mess with perfection though *puffs chest*

Susie, I totally agree with you, His artwork is amazing.
Ben is about to start at Adrian College for Art. What I've seen in the past 6 months is crazy.

Point well taken Susie and I would have to agree with the artistic fact that was brought to the design and creation of the art work, its above average for sure.

But I think I'm safe in saying that we (most of us here) think the darkside imagery is a bit disturbing and that was the point of reference only. No one from BBNOVA mentioned anything for or against the YB site its self, we only stood for what our opinions are and didn't slam anyone or degrade anyone which is what made us not understand where this came from

I didn't read where "WE" displayed any hate at all toward any staff, muchless the artistic ability of the artist that created the image. Again, he did a great job its just distrubing to me and what it reprsents to me. Again I fully agree with everything you have said but there is more degrading and character slamming at YB than just about anywhere else on the net and at the end of the day many of them brag on that fact. But again, no one here did that

I understand Kevin's issues with Monty... but then again there are 2 sides to every story.

Like I said I did not want my post to a jab against anyone. I do consider Monty one of my friends and I felt that some of the things that were being said were a slam against him and degrading. I would hope that if someone was implying that I was a piece of shit bullshitter or backstabber that one of my friends would go to bat for me... I would do it for you.
All this chatter is making me sleepy... time to take a nap.

Second: I understand Monty decided not to censor any post or poster. That's ok, he's paying the bill, it's his show he can do as he sees fit. When posters find they can say anything they choose then the posters that are drawn to the site will eventually degrade. I used to visit yellowbullet on a regular basis. I gradually started to only visit the Political Corner because Trash or be Trashed became a cesspool. I now choose not to visit yb at all because I don't want to have to explain what is on my screen to:
a. my wife
b. my children
c. my grandchildren
d. my 93 year old father
e. anyone else who happens to walk by.
Language on yb is atrocious. Many postings border on pornographic. Respect for others is virtually non-existent.

Third: I don't know either Kevin's issues with Monty or Monty's issues with Kevin and I don't care. I know this board is clean and respectable. I feel like everyone here is a friend. I hope they feel the same way about me and know if they need me I am available for them and I would also hope the same in return but don't expect it. Calling the yb tribe a "strange breed" will probably not cause even a ripple since that term is definitely "G" rated compared to what they call one another. Chris' comment about becoming what you hang around my have included an unfortunate choice of words but is in fact right on the money when you look at the intent of the statement. You are judged by who you associate with.

Last: I'm sure the creator of the t-shirt is a very talented person. I'm happy for them to be talented and hope it brings them great happiness. Unfortunately talent is wasted all over the world everyday.
