My first "real" car was a 73 Challenger 340 with the rallye pack. I was only 16 and the "Basin Street Blue" with the strobe stipes was the coolest thing I ever saw. IMO the Challeger and Cuda were the perfect look of a pony car to a 16 year old, and the lines are still classic to me. I got the car to go 11.62 through the mufflers on brick solid Laramie bias ply L60X15 tires (there's some old stuff for you, lol ). Ed Hamburger had given me everything I needed in what to do to get this car to run like that before he was SLP and just making oil pans. The man never asked me to buy a single part off him and only wanted to see fast mopars on the street. Very Cool. I miss that car something aweful. I still have a super 8mm tape of it from a school project doing a burnout. Oh I think i'll get the projector out !!
