HI THERE ALL! I got to spend a short time with the Anderson's today. Carol looks good (which she has every time I have seen her), she has been walking a lot (Brian really took her on a "stroll" today, I guess), and she is eating good. They tell me she may come home tomorrow! I hope so...however, I also hope they are not pushing her out the door if she is truly not ready. So, regardless.....she is pushing along and doing what it takes to get healed! Just wanted to share! Hopefully Brian will post a more accurate update, but, I wanted to put my 2 cents in.

Hope all the dad's had a wonderful Father's Day.

I just got the word that she can come home, silly me drove the Grand Prix today so I have to go home and get the SUV so she can get in the car easier. Looks like noonish I'll be picking her up. I'm so excited. She is doing as good as you could considering it was a pretty major operation. At least she can heal at home for the next week instead of a crappy hospital room. Wish us well the week, chemo started early next week I'm told.

What a long drive home. The hospital is in Grand Rapids, about 30 minutes from our home, The ride was a long one, she could feel every bump so I had to slow down quite a bit to help her out, but once we got home she settled right in nicely. She had visitors all night so she was pretty tired come 9pm or so. She was doing well this morning, just has to go to the bathroom alot so sleep is come and go, all in all, she's doing fine. She did get up and walk around a bit, in the house and out onto the porch while I was out doing some food shoping.

YAY! Glad she is doing better! I knew she would probably feel better once she was home. Can't wait to see her. We'll be up and walking for distance in no time at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
