I am still going through a bunch of old magazines and found more items of interest:

a) Picture of Ted Pelech's Camaro (and some Nick Scavo references)

b) Cool old NOS ad:

c) I thought this was interesting. It is an early add for GM performance parts, but notice how much stuff is Pontiac:

d) Apparently Superbirds were not big sellers in the late 70's -

e) An add for Alcoa aluminum, but features the ZL-1 aluminum Chevy big block:
