I replaced the lexan with glass because of sight issues.... I made an appointment to drop the car off last Thursday and to pick it up Friday evening. I dropped the car off no problem. They asked for the chrome molding that goes around the windshield as to set the glass properly. I said thanks I almost forgot it. I got it out of the trailer and gave it to them. Firday after work I hooked up the trailer and went to pick it up. As I walked in the door, 2 employee's were talking and one is using the "F" word. I was like, what if I had young ones. Anyway the girl with the foul mouth comes up front and says I'm sorry I didn't realize any customers were here. I said don't sweat it as if that was the worst that happened I would have been ok with it. So the guy comes from the back and says you own the Nova right??? I was like
... Yes, why???? Well, we didn't get to it. I said you know I trialer it and it was supposed to be done. He said, I tried to call you. I looked at my phone and said, I don't see any missed calls from you. He said no you missunderstood me, I tried to call and every time I did I got busy. I said that and 50 cents will get ya a cup of coffee.. So now I'm fuming... I siad when will it be done? He said tomorrow first thing which was Saturday. I said you have my number. So, around 10am I got a phone call to come pick it up. I had cooled off by now and figured just let it go. I walked in and asked to see the car. I walked in the back area where the work is performed and saw the chrome molding to the glass was gapped in spots. Not just little gaps huge gaps. The one guy that was working came over and I asked him, why is the molding gapped to the glass? He said it just worked out that way. I was like "NO"!!!!!!!! He said, the guy installed it and later I put the molding on. I said and you guys do this for a living?? Any who has installed these before knows you use the molding to set the hieght of the glass. That is why I left it here. I asked if it could be raised and he said, nope it has setup. I walked to the front and paid for it and loaded the car and took it home. I called the main office to tell them how displeaased I was. They wanted me to take it back to them and I said no way in hell is this car going back there. I told them I would be ok with taking it to another location but not back there. Teh guy I talked to said he would get ahold of the approprite people to make this right. SO, I am expecting a phone call today with some sort of resolution, HOPEFULLY!!!!!!!!
