Well I just got home a little bit ago from MIR (Maryland Int'l Raceway). I had better success today than yesterday till the hood disappeared from my car at 1000ft mark.

1st pass off the trailer - 9.96 @ 146.16

and

2nd pass with a little more rpm on the leave 9.83 @ 145.91 (lifted at 1100 ft when hood disappeared)

Both passes on the motor and not really leaving off the transbrake real hard.

Since I ruined my new hood now I need another.

I went back down the finishline and got my scoop. It is dinged up pretty good but repairable. Back to the drawing board...and will see what I can do to get out by Friday.

Expecially since the weather is going to be in the 60-70's all week here.

No..there were not. I didn't have any across the front. We were thinking because there was so much of the hood cut away that there would be enough bleed off that with the wedge fit in the front it would not lift. Well we thought wrong....oh well...silly me.
