Well the 2nd. annual CFC car show has come to a closure, we met several new friends, were provided with another great day of weather, even though we really needed some rain badly the Lord provided us with a GREAT day. We had a total of 51 cars regestered for the show which was 13 more than last year. Even though we were competing against 3 large car shows within 8 mile from us in any direction we are very pleased.

I would like to thank Bob from BT Racae Cars, Todd from the Pickeledmidget, and Mike for supporting us in person this year. I would also like to thank all of you for your supporting us in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you all.

I would like to give you a little history behind what we do with our Car Shows. Cruisers for Christ Outreach Ministry promotes a variety of activities throughout the cruise season that supports and uplifts those in need, Churches, and Youth group Ministries.

Our show site for this event is Lakeside Bible Chapel where the kids will be going on a mission trip to the inter city of Tampa Florida, where they will start a 3 week construction project where they will remodel, rebuild, repaint, build decks and porches, etc.. as needed to help bring some light to a dark area.

The kids raised $975.00 from selling hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, soda and so on this past Saturday. Home Depot will be matching their $975.00 in material at contractor cost, which brings their total for the day to $1,950.00 cash and material's. There will also be contractors donating their time to help the kids during this 3 week period of time.

Some of events that we do each year are as follows.

1. Dream Cruise water ministry, now those of you that dont live here in the Metro Dteroit area might not know what that means. Well we have the worlds largest Cruise day called the Woodward Dream Cruise where we average 30,000 cars from all across the globe and 2,000,000 people. CFC hands will be handing out 2,500 bottles of cold water to the cruisers which includes a message for John 14: 13&14.

2. Ronald McDonald House Dinners, where we as a group donate the food and our time to go to the Ronald McDonald House and cook meals for the needy families that are here with their children at Childern's Hospital.

3. Thanksgiving Food Drive, where this year our goal is provide 100 needy families with a heathly Thanksgiving meal, these families are chosen based on their needs with information supplied from various school boards, City Chambers, Churches, and friends.

4. Cruisers for Tots "Toy Drive", in September we start collecting toys for needy children, our local goal is to provide 250 needy children with a Christmas gift this year, as well as being apart of Operation Christmas Child http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.as ... tmas+Child we would love to include all of you in this endever.

Cruisers for Christ spends every penny that we receive on all the above, I am happy to say that this past show we received enough to provide about 40 Thanksgiving meals and that is a great start.

So I say again to all of my friends and family,

Thank You,

Cruisers for Christ Ministry

Thank you Kevin, but I am just 1 person and we are 25 strong and we all have our duties and I am just a team coordinator and member.

Just as soon as I complete the September Flyer I will send it to you.

Thanks again
