It is set to be dynamic. I have tables left and right that use about 300 pixels.
Center section uses 100% of what is left over of the visitor's screen.

I don't like users to have blank space in the page so that is why it is dynamic.

Maybe make the header 800 pixels or just short of it bacuse I use 6 pizels on the border.

If you look at the site and can incorporate the top menu that would be cool

Kelly that looks nice. My first impression is that it is too bright and would clash with the colors I am currently using. I put it up to take a look and am having mixed thoughts about it. It also forced me to look at that my page in 800 pixel version and I did not like what I saw maybe I have to re-think the overall color scheme and design as well.

I have to run out for a while so I will be back tonight to take a look.

I have two questions on this.
1. is it possible for the background to be extended for viewer of more than 800 pixels?

2.how about if the red/yellow faded into gray to blend into the page better?

yes it should be able to extend, i can send you the PSD file so you have the individual layers if you need them. i could also put a border around the header so it'll blend in a bit better with the gray?

Yes Kelly that works better with the scheme. Thanks.

It does not however seem to cover the full page.

Right now it is in a table with column span =2 but does not span.

I put it in a page by itself but it is locked at the 800 pixels and will not expand. Not sure if I explained it right.

It is up on the page for a quick look http://www.corvettechallenge.info/

Kelly I figured how to do the links. Using the slice tool and adding links to the slices I got them to work but not figured how to show the alternate image. I will keep playing till you get back on line
