That's very cool Jimmy. As a matter of fact I was standing in line at Subway and talked to the guy in front of me. He was the guy who worked for DTE and ended up knowing a good friend of mine. He told me that they were looking for some good people to work there.. Since Im no good I posted it to find good people... Never know who you are next to unless you talk to them.. Worst that can happen is they end up like the girl today..LOL Oh well she had a bad day thats all.. No harm done.. I'm sure she thought about it today and feels bad.. Maybe..

if you're standing in long lines... talking to strangers is a pleasant way to pass the time.
often people (regionally) seem like they are about to spontaniously combust
... Oh...and the single digit wave? even the King's Coach gets that, a lot...I believe it's because we are occupying space

I get aggravated standing in long lines sometimes unless there is someone to talk to. It's even helped a few times to take cuts ahead of that person if I dont have many items.. Very nice when they do that..

All they are trying to tell you is that you are #1. It is better than being #2.

When do that...that is what I say....or a buddy told me this response. Give them the clown face...stick your thumb to you nose and wiggle your fingers. I did that to a guy in traffic after him telling me I was #1 and the fool followed me off the beltway (interstate that circles Washington, DC). Well needless to say he got "punk'ed". Should have seen everyone laughing at him in traffic when I got out of my car. It was classic.... 8)

Monty...I would have told her:

"That's nice that you have the strength to open your own door. Too bad you were not taught that it is polite to hold the door for the person behind you. Next time would you be so kind to stop and wait for the door to close so you can demonstrate your strength and motor skills to open the door on your own?"
