Well I am at my office at 4Bucks...2pm interview today!!!!

I got a phonecall late lastnight.....I have an interview at 2pm up on Capital Hill at the House of Representives.

They called me and asked "HOW SOON CAN YOU INTERVIEW?"......makes you wonder how bad they want to see me. * :twisted:

Thanks....I miss working on the Hill. It has been a few years...will be nice to get back in the swing of things. I need to stop by and see one Congressman I know to see about a professional reference. I have been meaning to visit him for the past few years and just draggin my feet.

Everytime I watch West Wing...brings back memories...just too bad they are the wrong side of the aisle. :lol:

Trust me....I will...I should get it. I told them a salary range that is half of what I used to make as a consultant on the Hill back in 94. So I should get in expecially with what I bring to the table.

This will also put me in position to start my background research on starting a not for profit motorsports lobby group. We need representation at a national level to protect the interests of motorsports in general. Look at what just happened in New Jersey with the motorsports bill that got canned. Luckily the New Jersey racers have been down that path before and mobilized their voter base and fought the good fight.

LOL...I just wish I was getting on a airplane today to head to Indy. This will be the first time in a while that I have not gone to PRI.

Well gang......update.

It was neat to go back to the "Hill" after being away for 10 years! I can't believe it has been that long!!!!

I was even sporting a business suit and trench coat. Man...it has been a while having to put on my Corporate Gear.

The interview went I feel very well. They promised to let me know either way by the end of the week. So time will tell. It will be neat to go back....but if it is not in the cards...then it is not to be.

*fingers crossed*

Jimmy I won't have an office since I will be a contractor floating around the Hill to various offices.
