does painting or powder coating an intake manifold have any negative effect of the performace of the engine due to increased temps or anything like that? |

I know plating or polishing reduces surface area. Which makes it harder for the intake to dissipate heat. On a drag engine I don't think it would make much difference. On a street engine with longer run times and idleing time. It could be an issue. |

Just another thought. My intake is polished. And there is frost on the top of it after a run. |
