Okay I have been running 275/40 17" drag radials who's diameter is 26.7 with a 4.10 rear. Lately, as the tires have worn, I am hitting the rev limiter just past the finish line. I am crossing the finish line at around 122 MPH. It did not do this when the tire was new. Could it have shrunk that much? How can I measure the true diameter of my tire when it is off the car so that it is an accurate measure? |
