i was at work and stopped in a gas station and they had some old nmca videos for sale, i thought that was strange. but i bought one :lol:

Were they Powerhouse videos???? If so it was when the NMCA was like the NSCA then they merged and became the Hot Rod Magazine Powerfest NMCA-NSCA Super Series then they split it up :roll:

It's a very complicated story. Here's the history as I remember it (as far as the series names that Tony Depillo had and class names):

2004 NSCA Ramchargers "American Muscle" #4
2003 NMCA BF Goodrich "American Muscle" World Champion Runner Up
2002 NMCA/NSCA Mickey Thompson "Street Eliminator" #3
2001 NMCA Mickey Thompson "Street Eliminator" #6

So 2003 was the year Tony "thought" he had the NMCA name back, but could not hang onto it for 2004.

I won a jacket for 3rd place in 2002 (the only year that I know of that they gave out jackets for third). What's funny about that is everything I have ever won from the "NSCA" says "NMCA" on it! :lol:
