I was playing around tonight with some graphics. I like what I ended up with. More changes to follow.

lol. i forgot about this. I was going to develop a map where kevin could click on all of the places that he would be racing at, so everyone could click on those spots.


I started coding the .php

i actually got it sort of working back in 2003

make sure you click on a spot or 2 to get the full effect

A little off the subject, but it reminds me of "Wild" Willie Borsch: he had a map on the back of the car with a little "flame" showing every place he had crashed....

i worked on playing with phpbb3 last night. debating between that and vbulliten. I've always been a fan of phpbb, but vbulliten has a lot of what ppl already want.

phpbb 2 is what we use now
phpbb 3 is out but not final yet. sort of a beta

vbulletin has all of the features that you guys want, but i'm not sure if there's a free version or not for it yet. and we'd have to get used to the new format.

NMCA uses vbuilliten

IIRC, we had a lot of hacking problems with PHPBB over @ GFZ. I dunno if the new one fixes that or not (I would imagine so), but it was a PITB for sure.

the home page looks bitchen.

ya, i was looking at your board. you use some other one. I'm considering that software too. but phpbb and vbulletin are the ones most ppl use.

phpbb is nice but has some security holes in version 2.

vbulletin is nice but costs $$
