Carol is now walking on her own and doing great. She has a chest x-ray this afternoon and they will be removing her left lung drain and we hope the wound drain as well. It should be a wonderful more relaxing weekend for her. I'm told Chemo starts next wednesday. |

Right after I posted that, I had to rush home as her right lung was making funny girggling noised. We went a touch early for the x-ray. They removed the drain tube but found out she had a partial colapsed lung.....what next.... She didn't have a good day saturday at all, her emotions are running wild and she doesn't understand it, but we got through it, talking alot and going for short walks helped out. Yesterday was pretty good. She had alot of vistitors on Friday and yesterday. One day at a time. We have a doctors appt on Wednesday to find out about Chemo and such. |

Keep the faith buddy. we're all with you and Carol. Stay on top of changes she is having and relay them to her doctors. Docs have a tendency to put you on the 'back burner' when they think the crisis is under control. Don't let them brush off any little thing you think may be an issue. Get in their faces and make them listen. God be with you both. You're in our prayers. |

God be with you both. You're in our prayers. I could not agree more about getting in their face and making them listen.... Dogg I am sorry that Carol had a tough day. Remember to hug and tell what a wonderful, strong and beautiful person she is. Do your best to keep the positive thoughts going. Your family has been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. |
