I changed a 20.00 gear on my son's jr dragster today and picked up a hole second. I could not beleave it, a 14 tooth to a 12 tooth. I wish it was that easy on the big cars.

Yes it's kind of neat the clutch has the front peace on the crank and the back peace ( the driven) on the jack shaft and on that shaft is the small (driven) gear that I changed and the chain goes from that to the big 80 tooth rear sprocket. I still can't believe a hole second, pretty cool. 13.0s @ 53 mph in the 8th. I never went that fast at 8 year's old. |
