"Judy McCoy"UPDATE. David has 2nd degree burns on his left hand,arm, neck and face. Yes, he seems to be doing ok or as ok as you can be with burns. I'd like to say thanks to Kevin Parents crew for helping Keith and David out. Also the crew that has the rail on the other side of them for all their help. I will get their name as soon as Keith gets back to me. Yes Ken he is a tough old bird but looks can fool you. I hate being in Illinois with him in Florida. The drive home is going to be tough on Keith because David won't be able to do much of the driving. Although he will try. Sometimes he scares me to death. Thanks to all of you for your well wishes.

"Judy McCoy"I just got off of the phone with David and Keith. They had an engine fire the gas splashed up on David and he was burned on his arm face hand and neck. They tell me he is ok. Another crew took him up for medical help. I want to thank them for their help I don't know who they are and also Patty for staying with David. When I talked to David he said he was blistered on his lips and arm. The doctor was concerened about his throat and lungs. Like the true racer that he is he told Keith to stay with the car. Keith said it was so strange for him to go to the line without his dad being there. I won't know how bad he really is until they get home Monday or Tuesday.
