Hi everyone... thank you for the thoughts and prayers. It is a great feeling to know that there are people out there that are concerned. I am gonna do some catching up on reading and hopefully chat with you all tomorrow. This hospital is starting to make me crazy. |

I get to come home when my kidneys start to improve. Long story short is that I have this thing called Wegners dieseae. It is very rare (1 in a million people get it) and they do not knpw much about it. The treatment is pretty standard. I have to take a dose of chemo drugs once a month along with a steroid for the next 6 months and hope that it puts it into remission. The diease itself usually attacks the sinuses, kidneys and lungs. I am lucky because it was caught before it got to my lungs. However it has done alot of damage to my kidneys already. The doctors say that there is a 50/50 chance that the kidney will heal itself. The hump that I have to get over is that kidney has to stop getting worse (my kidney function was the same yesterday to today) So hopefully the early part of next week I will get out of this place... it is making me nutty. |

Wow Susie, that is really rough! Well I have several friends sending out prayers for ya and Dave's Aunt (a nun) has also included you on the prayer cards for this week! So good luck on a quick recovery and escape from the hospital! Keep us updated

Thanks Shannon... There is no way around that what I am going thru sucks big time. However... I realized how lucky I am. I have the most amazing family and friends that anyone could ask for. You guys are all the bestest
