23 years.... Started on the board, mylar and then on aluminum plates, then on to cad.... been going down hills ever since cad now that I think about it....... How bout you Dogg???? |

I started in the mold building business (die cast and plastics) in 1986. I'm the guy who has hit every step on the latter, started out sweeping floors and painting machines while I was going to school at NTMA, now I'm engineering manager. I still have two guys running cadkey, 6 others are on UG NX3 and I've got 4 external guys on UG and 5 external guys on Visi. It's funny how you used to think the guy above you had a gravy job, boy was that the wrong thinking. Next step is President, I don't think that will be happening for quite a while as the current one isn't much older than I am and right now and doing a great job. I wouldn't be ready for it, but I'm spending more and more time with our customers and dealing more and more on the financial side of things each day. |
