Post subject:  Cecil County race update.....
Well, we qualified #4 after Brian Ferrari and Jack Boer bumped us there from 2nd on the final round of qualifing. On that 3rd qualifier, the driver (me) had a brain fart and downshifted as I went through the traps. I owe Hutch an appologly for doing what I did to his trans. Hutch's trans have never given me a problem and wouldn't have if I wouldn't have done that. Anyway, I had Henry Jackson 1st round. We both did our burnouts and staged the cars. I pressed my trans brake button and the car still moved forward. I slammed my foot on the brake peddle and waited for the lights to come down. Henry left first and then me. As I pulled second gear, the RPM's climbed instantly, as there was no second gear. I lifted and lost. Great job to Henry Jackson. Thanks to Hutch for being so understanding and for getting me in to get the trans done for Milan...... I still say Hutch builds the best and strongest tran's in the business....

Look at all of your positives Kevin, you got the motor back together qualified 4th out of 10 (based on the board) and you did all that with blind faith, that is a win win.

Congrats Kevin, it looks like I may be able to be there saturday afternoon at Milan after I get back from Ca.
