Not at all. Actually the motor is doing VERY well. I did a compression test, checked valve lash and pressure, inspected the oil filter and looked at the cylinders with a bore scope. Everything is looking good. This is the first time with this motor I have been out twice without killing the bearings. Maybe the 1/2" shorter stroke is working out. Who knows? I only made a 1/8 mile hit as the track was going away at 11:30PM. It went a 5.18 on a very small tune up. Even smaller than the guys who run NPS not to mention any names.... |
