Brain and I spent some time with the car last night.. After leaking down the motor and getting it out of the car... Preliminary results are, we will be needing a new set of pistons
... The motor will be coming apart tonight to verify that....

Looks like 4 or 5 of them... So I need at least 3 new ones because I bought 10 when I bought the last set..... So it looks like I will be ordering 4 new ones.... I'll know more tonight after I get it apart... |

Sorry to hear that Bill.... Lets see, We ran a 7.57 off the trailer... Put a little more to it and spun the tires in the bad lane... Read the plugs for 3rd round of qualifing and put a little more tune up to it... We sent a few pistons to the piston gods.... Seems we lifted the ring lands on #8 and let oil in the chamber which tosted that hole and sent parts into other holes.... |
