Just talked to some guys that ran at Milan Saturday before the rain, they said it was packed and that Milan had scraped and etched the first 300 feet this spring, the guys I talked to said traction was excellent and there were some good numbers being laid down. I know last year Milan really sucked and almost lost the IHRA MotorCity Nationals over the winter. The track should be rocking by the time the NSCA races in June. Gary Jacob just bought a Super Stock / A Hemi Cuda and with a soft tune up, Leaving the line at 3000 and short shifting the car had a 1.25 60 ft and ran 9.30. Hopefully the track will hold 6,7 & 8 second cars.....Jim |

Jim, thanks for the update. Please keep us up to date as we might head the the NSCA race there instead of Columbus. Going to Orlando in Oct. and Columbus is just to close time wise. Thanks, John |

Some of us are thinking about going to orlando in oct.... But may need a pit to set up a tent, do you guys stay at the track???? Would be nice to meet everyone and the race sounds like an awsome time.....Travis. |
