I am about 2 weeks out from making smoke!!!! Look for a low 7.5 out of team bbnova!!!!! Schroeder won't have it that easy in Atlanta. Knee surgery, OUCH!!!!!

Okay guys......only 40 days to get ready for the next race. I have to have knee surgery on April 1st. after that it is full bore working on the car. Kevin are you going to be ready? Hope so those boys in Nostalgia Pro Street need some competition. Jim |

Good luck Jim. I had a knee cartilage trim and clean-out almost exactly this time last year. I was feeling great the next day but then the painkillers wore off. After about four days it was swollen like a grapefruit and I was thinking it was about ten times worse then before the surgery. After couple of weeks it was way better and now its as good as new. I'm really happy I decided to get it done, Now I can run around with my kid and not even worry about my it any more, It used to lock up on me pretty bad. Hope I didn't scare ya to bad, LOL. Hey Kevin, what is your car certified to run? Is there a ET you cant exceed with your new chassis? I'm kinda confused by the new 25-1 certifications. I figure by the time our car is on the track is wont be legal to go faster than 8.50. It's a mild steel 8 point cage ladder bar car. Sorry to hear about that knee Jim, I'll be needing two new ones soon myself, not looking forward to it. Kevin, You think John is the Heavy Hitter this year, It's a 7.50 breakout right. |

I appreciate all the concern and warnings.....I am 36 and have onset arthritus (that really sucks) and I wore out the cartilage after 15 years of playing hockey, baseball, football, and I have an 11mm piece of cartilage that broke off and is floating around, it got wedged in my knee over x-mas and THAT REALLY Sucked. Oh well, hopefully I can recover quick and get back in the shop. I have 2 customer cars that need to get done and finish the interior in mine. Kevin dont laugh but I might go to Lapeer Dragway on April 17 to get some test passes in (LOL). Should be a bumpy ride. Thanks Guys, Hope to se ya all in Atlanta, The NSCA needs you !!! Jim
