Kev...I am jealous....this coming Saturday while you are racing...I will be taking a FINAL and giving a presentation on the benefits of VLANs. I can't wait!!!

All I did this weekend was hook up cable to the garage and setup the 4-speaker stereo system in the garage. Then I hooked up the TV to the stereo system. Man my shop rocks when I have dragracing cranked up in there.

It is great now I can go anywhere in the shop and hear the TV without having it cranked up to shake the rafters.

Oh...I also fabricated a shifter mount....man I need a welder!!!!

Here is how productive I was this weekend.

Fabricated an aluminum shifter mount....I need a welder!!!

I cleaned up the shop a little bit and added some fluorescent lights. Now I can see what I am doing....not that I know what I am doing. Notice the entertainment system above the refreshment center in the back of the shop.

I will probably wire the telephone and CAT5 computer network out there in a few weeks. Then the the only thing I will need then is to finish the siding and a bathroom then I will never have to leave the shop.
