THE SOFTWARE FOR MY NEW CAMERA AND WIN XP DONT SEEM TO LIKE EACH OTHER MUCH, ANY SUGGESTIONS???
XP TELLS ME NOT TO LOAD SOME OF THE FILES ON THE CD FOR THE CAMERA AND THE MANUAL STATES THAT THE CAMERA CONNECTION AND SOFTWARE ARE CONFIGURED TO RUN WITH XP.
I GET ADOBE PHOTO SHOP LOADING WHEN I TURN ON THE CAMERA AND THIS IS A HP CAMERA.

I have a Sony Digital camara and the computer told me the software wasn't for XP but you could pick to load anyway. I did that and then went to the software website and got the update.
as for it opening photoshop, your computer is probably set to use it for all jpg. files.
I'm not a PC spec., just my experiences.

I CANT STAND THE ADOBE CRAP ITS BS THAT IT LOADS WHEN I PLUG MY CAMERA INTO THE COMPUTER. I'LL FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET RID OF IT THOUGH.

did you get your camara software loaded?? If not when you load it it may change the PC settings
