Why is it so "slick" for a street tire at the track? I remember back when I had a 350 and 2.73/open (one 205/70 rear tire) ![]() ![]() |

i used to ride street tires on my stang and my motorcycle. both did the exact same as you described. Honestly, I think it just has to do with compound stickiness and tire width. |

In the UK we run on MT sportsman pro's for street and racing.We don't do too bad on them considering....... |

I'm not sure.Most of us either use the 33"x 18"x 15" or the 33"x 21 1/2" x 15"sizes.You wouldn't want them anyway,it's not easy running those tyres with a lot of HP.Go with the new MT drag radial for that size of tyre.I'm sure they do a 275 x 50 x 15". http://www.redvictor1racing.co.uk |
