Yup. at the request of the users, I made an iPhone version of Drag Racing Workbench.

The track is was collected by me googling and i'm sure it's not complete. But I bet it's the best list available :)

Hi Chris,
Just used the app to check the weather at Cecil County Dragway. At the bottom it says" Location:North Cape May". Doesn't say anything about Cecil County MD. Help me understand what is happening here. Does it take the weather report from Cape May NJ or some other Cape May and not Rising Sun MD ?

Hi Dick,


Yeah, that's from the weather.

When I grab the weather, here's how it's done. I get the device GPS coords. Then I send those to wunderground weather. They then do the closest weather station to the devices stated coords. part of that data is the weather stations name. So North Cape May was the closest reporting weather station to where you were standing.


So, 1 of 3 things happened if you think that's not quite right.


1) Your phone thought it was in a location where it really wasnt.

2) That was the closest weather station that was live at that moment to where you were standing.

3) I'm a jack ass and messed up the code some how. :)

hmmmmm. I believe I was at home in northern Delaware when that happened. Cape May NJ is on a straight line down the bay from here.
