Joanne and I had been out Christmas shopping at the mall for most of the afternoon, suddenly, Joanne realized that I had "disappeared" again as I frequently do when shopping with her. My somewhat irate spouse called my cell phone and demanded: "Where the hell are you?"
Me: "Do you remember that jewelry shop where you saw the diamond necklace and totally fell in love with it and I didn't have money at that time and said, Baby it'll be yours one day."
Joanne, with a smile blushing: "Yes, I remember that."
Me: "Well, I'm in the bar next to that shop."
