I just got two Axion Turbo Start 16v batteries from Summit. The short sides of both were bulging when I opened the boxes. Called Summit and the guy there said "Don't worry about it". So I called Axion and the guy there said "That happens sometimes after the manufacturing process due to temperature changes. They should go back to normal after the first charge cycle." Also said "Don't worry about it". Well, I'm worried about it! They're in the trunk next to the fuel cell and if they explode it could get ugly!

Anyone had any experience with this?
