| Post subject: | Buying a vehicle in Canada for US use |
Anybody know what's required to buy a vehicle in Canada and drive it back to the US? Anything unique for the border crossing? Temporary plates for the drive home, etc? Our potential victim, a 2001 Tahoe, is in Toronto and we would need to bring it home to Detroit. Thanks in advance, K |

i got 2 motorcycles from canada. the first I had to pay taxes at the border. I drove it over the border. the second I paid at the dealer and they brought it over. But these were both 10 years ago, so things could be different with 9/11 and all. |
