10.2 block subtract 2.375 for the stroke is 7.825.

7.825 subtract 1.12 CH is 6.705

If it is a aluminum rod you need to be say .020 in the hole, so....

6.705 subtract 0.020 is 6.685 long rod.

Hope this helps.

im not going to run a aluminum rod, im just gonna use a h beam or something that is off the shelf. the piston recomended a 6.600 rod and i knew that wasnt rite.

So you may get away with a 6.700 long rod then. I would talk to your piston maufacturer though...

my block has O rings so im not really sure what head gasket to use. it will not see any nitrous, the piston specs are:

Bore (In) 4.600

Stroke (In) 4.750

Rod (In) 6.600

Pin .990

Comp Hght 1.120

Weight 528g

C/R @ 0 deck 10.4:1

Crown -6cc

i am using a conventional head. this isnt going to be a max effort motor, i want it to be pump gas friendly also
