I used to love that ole bubble top !! That was one of the cleanest rides out there. Not to sound mean but just like in the ole NSCA days he still needs some more HP !!!! LOL.

I spoke to him back in early summer and he said the car has been in the 8.80s. Still needs a little but more HP!!

I didn't realize Charlie Wescott was from Parma....

PS - I don't think I'd want to go mid 8's in a '68 Barracuda.

What's the wheelbase on those things?!?

:(

Got here late today...sorry

Only thing I have to ad is Tony Dipillo built Russ' engine and the bubble top is for sale. I had loving eyes on the 62 but it's out of my price range.

I always loved the interior on on that '62. It was all red wasn't it ? Very clean car and finally in the last couple of years that car started coming around and started running in the 8's. Can you post what he is asking for it ?

We stopped talking when I was around $35,000, if I remember Russ was around $45k. That was turn key but just the car. 409 block bored and stroked to about 485 and hard blocked. G Force 4 speed. Probably capable of 9.20s.

Of course, now he's had a little experience in the SS/HA money pit. He may be willing to come down a little more.
