Yep! That's mine. Only difference is mine is a four speed. The 327 is coming out next week and a 472 stroker 409 is filling the hole.

My wife (then, wife-to-be) did the same thing to me, many years ago.

She had been living up north (Lewiston) and I had driven up there to see her. As we were riding around, I saw, off in the distance, a '56 Chevy. She saw it too and said "hey, is that a '56?".

Visibly impressed, I said "yeah...". I asked how she, the consumate non car person, would know that. She went on and on about how in her free time she had been doing some reading, brushing up on her old cars, yadeyadeya....

Well - when we caught up to it, in the next town, it had emblazoned on the quarter panels, in huge irridescent letters "1956 Chevy"...
