Just got back from a little "vay-kay"....

My nephew graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in New London CT. Drove out with travel trailer in tow; stayed at a state park campground. Everything went great and made it back yesterday without incident.

Well - our friends let us borrow their travel trailer. When we told them we were going to tow with the pickup (and put everybody else in the Vibe) they said "Nope. Take our Explorer, so that you only have to drive one vehicle".

Worked out very nice. It seemed a little small for the trailer (moved around a bit, especially when a semi went by), and it only got about 9.5 mpg - but - made it there and back without a problem.

Pretty good sized. I looked at the data label and didn't see a length, but it was probably 20' or 22'. He said it weighs about 4200 lbs (more than I would have guessed).
