Geez. I made that post and totally lost internet connectivity til just now... 
2 hours. But we are quite a bit north (on the same parallel as the Upper Peninsula) so I think the daylight hours are quite a bit shorter. Strange weather, too. Day before yesterday was about 60 degrees and pleasant; yesterday for the funeral it was perfect: 30 degrees, snowing and about 40 mph winds 
Today it's probably 40 degrees but clear and sunny. I have decided I don't like cold weather...
