Well that is a picture of an old car sitting in front of the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island so I would have to guess it unusual because cars are not allowed on the island. |

That is absolutely correct. Cars have not been allowed on the island since 1898 (a second law was passed in 1935). That was a Buick promotional photo, taken by a GM photographer, in front of the hotel. I guess back then whatever GM wanted, GM got!
BTW - it took the Buick guys about 6 hours and 25 posts to get this one. k |
