So, Colleen and I left for the East coast early on Wednesday the 2nd of July. We arrived at her brother's house in the late afternoon and had dinner with her borther's family and Colleen's dad. Collen's girls were kept int he dark as to our visit so we could surprise them. We left Colleen's brothers house after talking for a while to go see the girls. Colleen's bother and his family joined us. as we pulled up in front of the girls dad's house Colleen called her girls. She said what's up and that she was in the mood for ice cream. Just then Colleen knocked on the door as Alexis, Colleen's oldest told Marissa to answer the door. Maisssa wnet inot shock as she opened the door and just kept pointing at Colleen. It put such a big smile on everyones face. We loaded everyone up and headed out for ice cream. After some long taks we headed back to Colleens brother's house for some much needed sleep. We woke up Thursday the 3rd and headed for N.J. There is a beach there named Wildwood. There were tons of people there. We walked the boardwalk and people watched. We spent some time on the beach with Colleen collecting shells. After a long day in the sun we headed back to her brother's house. Colleen, the girls and her sister in law drove to Colleen's mothers house to spend the night up there and me and Colleen's brother spent the night at his house. Man those Philly cheese steaks are good.
I woke up on the 4th and waited for Colleen to return so we could head to teh 4th party we were invited to. Actually they threw it for us... 
Colleen showed up with the girls and her mother so we headed to the party. Colleen was so happy to see everyone. The food was geat and so was the company. We fianlly had to leave to head to her dad's house to visit with him and his wife Joyce. They are great people and had a very nice and relaxing time there. Sunday finally arrived and it was time for the return drive. We said by to her dad and Jotce and headed home.
What a great 4th weekend for us!!!!
