New guy here. Can't wait to meet some of you guys @ No Problem Raceway in a month or so. Warning if you have any weak driveline parts on your car or truck you better change them before you get to NPR. That track is notorious for braking axles and driveshafts......

Thanks 505nova. Can't wait till the first race to try out the new chassis. Looking forward to some stout numbers. Tell me a little about your car. I assume you have a Nova(505nova).

Yeah, it's a 71 Nova that I've been building up for a while - It's got a 505 tall deck in it, Pro-Filer 320 heads, nice little LSM cam, Turbo 400, 9" rear. It's mostly set up for a true street type class, stock frame rails, full interior, still licensed and tagged. Still getting it sorted out so far I've got it down in the 10's N/A. Can't wait for spring to try out the nitrous on it and new tranny/converter/gears.

We don't have much heads up action going on around here yet, but some of the tracks have scheduled a few races this year so I might try my hand at some drag radial stuff. Still take the car out on the street to cruise nights and stuff.

Sounds very cool. I do miss street driving my car. I used to street drive it all the time. Things have escalated to where it is too expensive to street drive it. :(

Oh I hear that, I can't run pump gas in it anymore either, so driving it around does get expensive quickly. Still fun to do once in a while.

Weclome aboard newbie's. Great site with great people from all over. I'm glad to see more Nova's on this site. 8-trees and 505Nova. We now know a little about 505Nova, how about you 8-trees. Wud-up with the name and how about a little discription. Watch out for that "Mihko" guy. He'll try to convert you to small block power like a pack of Jahova's witness on a week of sundays. HE's evil.
505, any times yet. Doing about the same with a 499, but coil-overs. John
P.S. Monty "SAINT" for you should be spelt "SATAN". Also look on the members list, I'm lucky #13.LOL
